Annie Elizabeth (Burnett) Vanderfeltz, 86, of Lexington, Missouri formerly a long time resident of Odessa, MO passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 South Second St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524, with Father Matthew Brumleve officiating. Burial will be in the Greenton Cemetery. Annie was born on February 22, 1928 in Ashland, MO to Hugh Coleman & Lela Verna (Trantham) Burnett. She graduated from high school in Jefferson City, MO. Annie was a homemaker, taking care of her family. Annie was united in marriage to John Vanderfeltz on October 15, 1946 in Jefferson City, MO. She was a member of the St. George Catholic Church. Annie was an avid reader, loved puzzles and traveling. Survivors include three children, Stephen Vanderfeltz of Jefferson City, MO, Gerald "Gary" Vanderfeltz of Buckner, MO and Betty Gail Barrett and husband Jack of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two daughter in laws, Geri Vanderfeltz of Wymore, Nebraska and Pebbles Vanderfeltz of Lexington, MO; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister Geraldine Schuelien of Jefferson City, MO; a sister in law, Elizabeth Burnett; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Annie was preceded in death by two sons, John H. Vanderfeltz and Rodney D. Vanderfeltz; two brothers, Hugh Burnett and Delmar Burnett; and two sisters, Lorice Calvert and Ardrelle Roberson
