Mrs Kitty Hickman passes away Friday night
Mrs Kitty Allegra Hickman died at 11:30 o'clock Friday night at St John's hospital, of pneumonia. She had been a Salina resident since 1923, and at the time of her death her home was at 1608 Highland. She was very active in church affairs at the University Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Kitty Francis Hickman and Mrs Alexis Smith of this city, and a son Charles Ethan Hickman, Detroit, Michigan; a brother Ethan Allen, Cawker City; and two sisters Mrs J H Dennis, Seattle and Mrs Elosia Philbrick, Lewiston Nebraska. The son is ill with the flu at his home in Detroit and will be unable to attend the funeral.
The body was taken to the Ryan-Sullivan Mortuary to await the funeral hour at 10 o'clock Monday morning. Services will be held at the University Methodist church with Rev A H Tebben in charge and interment will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
