John Denton, age 30, died today at his home on Riggs Hill, following a long illness. Survivors are: his wife, Betty Denton, Mother and Father, Mr. and Mrs. John Denton of Jacksboro, two brothers, Charles and Lawrence of North Carolina, two sisters, Anna who is in the Army in California and Joan in the Service and in England. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2p.m. at the First Baptist Church here.Rev. O. Jack Murphy officiating.Burial in the Jacksboro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of his Sunday School Class.
