Jacob D. Faunce is my 2nd cousin 5x removed. Jacob was born to Conrad and Marie Elizabeth Baldt Faunce on Jun 30, 1820, in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. He married Mary M. Bakeoven. They moved from Philadelphia to Washington, DC between 1661 and 1866. Jacob worked as a fisherman. They had 7 children; John D, Edwin S, George B, Jacob R, Elizabeth A, Mary E and David McQueen. He died of Rheumatism of the heart on January 24, 1885. He was buried in the Congressional Cemetery in Washington, DC.
