Martin BERGER, brother of 3 Pekin Men, Dies.

----Funeral services for Martin L. Berger, 60, of 1507 S. Laramie street,Peoria, the brother of thee Pekin men, will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday in Kuecks Funeral home. Rev. Kurt Schniechen will officiate, and burial will be in Meyers cemetery at Tremont. Friends may call at Kuecks until time of services.

Mr. Berger a retired machine operator for Caterpillar Tractor Co., died Tuesday noon at St. Francis hospital where he had been a patient for the past two months. He had been ill for three months prior to his death.

Born at Tremont Sept 30, 1900 he was a son of Steven and Martha Jane MAY BERGER. His first wife, Frieda, preceded him in death. He later married xxxx who survives as do his daughter xxxx of Peoria and his grandchild and three brothers, Harry, Albert and Arthur Berger all of Pekin.

Mr. Berger served with the U. S. Navy
