Elizabeth (Vance) Bradley was born about 1780 in Abingdon, Virginia to Samuel Vance Jr. and Margaret (Laughlin) Vance. She married Abram Bradley on January 15, 1801. They were the parents of one daughter - Sarah Bradley. Elizabeth died in August 1820.

"Elizabeth "Betsy" Vance was one of the 12 children of Samuel Vance II & Margaret Laughlin. Elizabeth was born in Wash. Co. VA, date unknown. According to Wash. Co. VA marriage records, Elizabeth married "Abram Bradley, son of John Bradley & Sarah Lillard, on the 15th of Jan 1801. It is believed Elizabeth died prior to 1820, for she is not enumerated on the 1820 census for Abraham Bradley nor listed in her father, Samuel Vance II's will, dated 19 Nov 1820.
Abraham & Elizabeth were the parents of one daughter, Sarah "Sally" Bradley. According to census records, Sarah was born between 1810-1815. She died before her father & is listed in Abraham Bradley's will, dated 4 May 1846, as "my deceased daughter, Sally." (Washington Co. VA Will Bk 10 p 239)."
