Zanesville - Mrs. Eva Mary Matilda Allen Gebhart, 73, of 199 E. Main St., South Zanesville, died at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday in Trellis Memorial Hospital, Tampa, Fla., where she had been visiting a daughter. She had been ill 10 years.

Born in Wilmington, March 11, 1897, she was a daughter of Charles and Susan Hutchinson Allen. She was the widow of Carl W. Gebhart.

Mrs. Gebhart was a member of the Apostolic Gospel Church.

She is survived by three sons, Herman, of Canton; Dewey, of Gardena, Calif., and Jerry Gebhart of Marietta St.; nine daughters Mrs. Floyd (Ruby) Ethell, Langman Lane; Mrs. Dale (Lavone) Bartlett, South Zanesville; Mrs. Wilbur (Eleanor) Black, Roseville Rd., Mrs. Randall (Jeannette) Smith, 809 Ohio St., Mrs. Evelyn Mauller, Ridge Ave.; Mrs. Esther Dady of Gardena; Mrs. Farris (Doris) Godwin, Canton; Mrs. Raymond (Shirley) Wheeler, Frazeysburg, and Mrs. Jack (Julianne) Gilreath, Tampa; a brother, Harry Allen, Springfield, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Paul (Mary) Rosenburger, Dietz Lane; Mrs. Ben Guest, Brunswick, Ga., and Mrs. Alice Fritzgerald, Columbus; 33 grandchildren and a great-grandson. Two brothers are deceased. Services are pending at the DeLong and Baker Funeral Home.
