M. Eugene Wade, 58, farmer near Boyds, died Sunday evening at 9:45 o'clock in the Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, after an immediate illness of 24 hours. He had been in failing health for some time and death was attributed to a heart condition.
Born in Frederick county, he was a son of the late Marcellus E[ugene] and Zourie Young Wade.
Surviving are these children: Mrs. Betty Guandolo, Mrs. Zourie Light, Mrs. Patricia McLaughlin, Kevin Wade; two brothers, Crawford and Finley Wade: and one sister, Mrs. Gail W. DeBeck; two grandchildren, all in the Bethesda area.
Friends may call at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase funeral home of Robert A. Pumphrey. Funeral services Wednesday with requiem mass in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Barnesville, at 10 a.m. Interment in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
