Frederick Post - October 5, 1946
J. Paul Wade, 48, well-known farmer of Buck Lodge, died early Friday at his home of a heart attack. He was born at Buck Lodge and educated in the public schools and at Briarly Hall Military Academy.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Courtney Wade; three brothers, Marcellus Eugene, Crawford F. and Finley V. Wade, all of Buck Lodge, and a sister, Mrs. Gail Wade deBeck, Bethesda.
Funeral services will be held at the late residence Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. William B. Hilton, funeral director.
