Obituary

Funeral services for Marcellus E. Wade, 69, well-known land owner and farmer of Montgomery County, Md., will be held Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church , Barnesville, Md.

Mr. Wade died last night at Emergency Hospital, as the result of a fractured hip, received when he fell, two weeks ago, in his home at Buck Lodge, Md.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter and four sons, all residents of Montgomery County. Mr. Wade was born on the large tract on land which he owned at this death. He was prominent until late years in Democratic party activities and had served as postmaster at Buck Lodge for 40 years.

Visit his Buck Lodge Homestead. All structures are now gone.
