Mr. Grady Morris, of Venus, died Monday, July 25, 1994 at his residence. He was 84 years old.
Mr. Morris was born January 20, 1910 in Mt. Peak, Texas, to John and Sally (Herring) Morris, both of whom preceded him in death. He married Rinetta Forbes on February 15, 1936, they had been married 58 years. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Venus and was a self-employed Carpenter.
Survivors include: wife, Rinetta Forbes of Venus; son, Bennie Dale Morris of Venus; son, Douglas Ray Morris of Iola, Texas; sister, Cristelle Roberts of Houston; sister, Ruth Bryan of Ft. Worth; sister, Maureen Mason of DeSoto; sister, Lucille Stead also of DeSoto; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday, July 27, 1994 at 2:00 p.m. at Coward Funeral Chapel in Midlothian, the Rev. Troy Russell conducted the services. Interment followed in Mt. Peak Cemetery, Mt. Peak, Texas.
Funeral arrangements and service were under the direction of Coward Funeral Home in Midlothian.
