MARY AKINS, 83, of W. Elm St., died Friday. A Tampa resident since 1912 after moving here from Winnipeg, Canada, she was a member of Spencer Memorial Baptist Church. She was a lifelong member of O.E.S. Chapter No. 11 and was a former member of the Navy Mother Club of World War II. She is survived by her husband, Laddie; two sons, Robert J. of Tampa and Harold L of Lakeland; a sister, Amy Knecht of Tampa; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
