LADDIE AKINS, 98, of Tampa died Feb. 24 in Tampa. A native of Tampa, he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a stationary engineer for several hospitals, a Shriner, 32nd-degree Mason of Hillsborough Lodge Free and Accepted Masons and member of the engineers local union. He is survived by two sons, Robert J. of Seminole and Harold L. of Spring Hill; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a nephew and two nieces.
