When Dale and Hazel were married for two years, Dale enlisted in the Army Air Force as a cadet. He graduated as a 2nd Lieutenant in Pecos, TX, where he flew B-24's
After the War, He helped to form Aslett Construction co. with his father and his brothers. After 10 years he formed his own corporation building roads, crushing rock and mining.
