SEABOARD — Mrs. Margaret Jeanette Allen Wheeler, 58, died Thursday in Halifax Memorial Hospital, Roanoke Rapids. A funeral was held in Galatia Baptist Church by the Rev. Lonnie R. Armstrong. Burial was in the Conway Cemetery. The family had visitation at the home of Leroy Wheeler in Seaboard.
She was a native of Northampton County and the wife of Leroy W. Wheeler. She was a member of Galatia Baptist Church.
Other survivors include four daughters, Miss Carolyn Wheeler of the home, Mrs. Vickie W. Rose of Seaboard, Mrs. Nettie W. Watson of Midlothian, VA, and Miss Charmie Wheeler of the home; five sisters, Mrs. Josephine A. Baker of Capital Heights, MD, Mrs. Millie A. Martin, Mrs. Virginia A. Flythe, and Mrs. Sylvia Jean A. Ricks of Conway, and Mrs. Nell A. Long of Pendleton; three brothers, Earl Allen of Ahoskie, Jennings Allen and Sidney Allen of Conway; and six grandchildren.
