Married Melvin Boyd Phelps on Dec 12, 1938 in Moody County, South Dakota. They lived in Chanarambie Township, Murray County, Minnesota and had children Caroline Faye (born 1938), Melvin Gerald "Bobby" (born May 12, 1939) and Walter Boyd (born 1940).

She next married Charles Francis Ruppert on Jul 23, 1943 in Nobles County MN, living in Brown and Nobles County, MN and Los Angeles, CA had with him Eileen Katheryn (born 1944), Charles William (born 1946), and David Leroy (born 1950).

She married Carl Norvin Anderson in California and had with him Jeanne Marie (1956) and James Dean (1958). She was with Norvin until his death in 1963.

She was married to Robert Campuzano, no issue.

She married William Franklin Leech in Reno, Nevada on October 19, 1974 and they lived in Oroville until his death in August 1985.

She raised two of her grandchildren as well: Geraldine Faye "Tina" Ruppert and James L Sainz.

Geraldine "Gerrie " Leech
Geraldine (Gerrie) Leech passed away Saturday, September 25, 2004. She was 81. She is survived with much love by her dog Benny; her eight children: Geraldine May, Jeanne Gilchrist, James Anderson, Eileen Flores, Caroline Hinkle, Charles Ruppert, David Ruppert, all of Oroville, and Walter Phelps of Minnesota. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Esther Paplow, Marge Anderson, Richard Weets, Henry Weets, Raymond Weets, Roger Weets and Robert Weets, all of Minnesota, and Ramona Pentz of Florida; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who also loved her and took care of her.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 30, 2004 at 10 a.m. at Scheer Memorial Chapel. A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 29th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Scheer.
