Mrs. Mamie Ruth Everling, 58, of 506 North 12th street died Thursday afternoon at her home. She had been ill for some time.

She was born in Red Sulphur, West Virginia, April 26, 1909 the daughter of Price and Alice Ballengee Gwinn. She was married to Wayne Everling in November of 1924 who survives. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include the husband, four daughters. Mrs. Thelma Swinford of Cicero. Mrs. Rose Barr of Noblesville and Mrs. Carolyn Jones and Mrs. Betty Swinford of Elwood: two sons, Robert Everling of Marion and Wayne Everling, Jr. of Elwood; three sisters, Mrs. Lina Holmes of Elwood. Mrs. Ruth Pruett of Anderson and Mrs. Rose Zimmeck of the state of Nebraska; two brothers, Paul Gwinn of Cicero and George Gwinn of the state of West Virginia, 25 grandchildren and one great grand child.
The body is at the Jackley funeral home where friends may call on Saturday from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Jacklay chapel Rev. Basil Stephens of the First Assembly of God Church will officiate.
