Rosa M. Zimmek

Rosa M. Zimmek, 81, 2326 S. A Street died Wednesday evening at Mercy Hospital. She was born July 31, 1907 in Red Sulfur Springs, W. Virginia, and was the daughter of Price and Alice (Ballengee) Gwinn. She married Frank Zimmek, Jr. He died in 1981.

She retired as an agent and operator of the CB &O Railroad in Nebraska. She owned a rock and mineral store in Colorado before moving to Elwood in 1982. She is survived by her sister Ruth Prewett of Anderson and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Dunnichay Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Dorsey officiating. Burial will be in Neese Cemetery in Madison County.
