With her husband, the late Ed Balschweid, and their children she came to Scio from Nebraska in 1898, and made this community her home until about either years ago, since which time she had resided at and near Los Angeles. She was born in Pennsylvania.
Survivors in the immediate family include the following-named daughters and sons: Mrs. Otto Bilyeu and Charles H. Balschweid, Scio; Mrs. George Wickham, Mrs. Neva Merrill and Ivan Balschweid, Los Angeles; Mrs. Leta Coppey California.
