A retired Union Federal Savings & Loan Association vice president and resident of Baton Rouge, she died Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at her residence. She was 78 and a native of Iberville Parish. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until religious services in the chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Karl Klaus. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a sister, Marjorie F. Perdue; two sisters-in-law, Rita Altazin and Patricia Felps; a brother and sister-in-law, Martin J. Felps Jr. and Ruth Felps, all of Baton Rouge; seven nieces and nephews, Carolyn Guidry, Marty Felps, Greg Perdue, Jane Lepine, Debbie Fugler, Dianna Hammond and James Felps Jr.; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Emmet Guidroz; parents, Martin J. Felps Sr. and Maude Arnold Felps; and a brother, James V. Felps Sr. She was a member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church, Stitch & Chatter Club, Executive Women's Club and Order of Eastern Star Istrouma Chapter No. 162.
