Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, with Masonic services at 7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Ken Carroll. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by wife of 52 years, Ruth Redditt Felps, Baton Rouge; a daughter, Carolyn Elizabeth Guidry, Houston; a son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Katy Felps, Richmond, Va.; a sister, Marjorie F. Perdue, Baton Rouge; a sister-in-law, Patricia H.Martin J. Sr. and Maude Arnold Felps; a sister, Beulah Felps Guidroz; and a brother, James V. "Sonny" Felps Sr. He was a member of East Gate Lodge No. 429, F&AM.
