Mary H.Yerger,84 Mary H. Yerger, 84, formerly of Hamburg, died May 14, at Laurel Center, Tilden Township, where she resided since 2004. Her husband, William H. Yerger, died May24, 1989. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Wheeler, in 1984. Born in Kenhorst, she was a daughter of the late Lynton R. and Carrie M.(Hainley)Dieter. She worked as a waitress for Brown’s Diner, West Reading; and the West Reading Diner, lastly in 1962. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Hamburg. Surviving is a daughter, Bernice F. (Donton), wife of Robert Sterner, Mohrsville. Other survivors include three brothers: Lynton H. Dieter, Elizabethtown; Richard D. Dieter, Reading; and Edward G. Dieter, Robesonia; and two sisters, June E.(Dieter) Blackwell, Reading; and Jean L. (Dieter), wife of Albert Hafer, Ruscombmanor Township. There are four grandsons: Robert L., Barry, Shawn and Brad Sterner; and her greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty R. (Dieter) Donton and Charlotte M. (Dieter)Williams.
