Lynton R. Dieter, 56, of 1206 Lancaster Ave., died last night at his home. The son of the late Henry /r. and May E.(Roland) Dieter, he was labor foreman of Penn Hardware, Inc., before he became ill five years ago.Previous to that he had been employed by the American Railway Express Co. for 22 years.
He was a member of Zion Evnagelical United Brethern Church.
Surviving are his widow, Carrie M. (Hainley), and the following children: Mary, wife of Stanley Wheeler; Bettie, wife of Leon A. Szefc; Richard D., and Charlotte wife of richard Williams, all of Reading; June /e., wife of richard Bush, Charleston, Mass.; Lynton H., Marietta, Pa.; Edward G. and Jean Louise, both at home; four grandchildren and four sisters:Mrs. Nellie Lonaberger and Ruth Dieter, /Reading; Mrs. Amelia McDonald, Philadelphia, and Emily, wife of Chester Imes, Shillington; a brother, Edron R., of Greenfields.
Services will be held from the Greenawalt Funeral Home, Shillington, at 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Richard Swartz, officiating. Burial will be made in Pleasantview Cementery.
