Funeral services for Mrs. Henry (Zora) Neff who died Thursday May 24, 1973 in the Community Hospital were held Tuesday, Mary 29, 1973 in the Hammon School Auditorium. Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Martin Funeral Home, Elk City, in charge.
Mrs. Neff was born August 5, 1889, in Hancock County, Tennessee. She was married to Henry Lee Neff in Tennessee, they came to Roger Mills County in 1916 and lived in Hammon where Mr. Neff was long-time City Marshal. Mrs. Neff attended the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by 5 daughters Mrs. Leslie Ritchie of Stockton, California; Mrs. Harley Maltby; Mrs. Ed Poole; Mrs. Gertrude Vincent and Mrs. Bill Kelley, all of Elk City also a son Harold Neff of Elk City; 34 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Bertha Pace, of Richmond, California; 1 brother Lloyd Jones, Elk City; and four great great grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death February 9, 1958, also 3 sons and a daughter.
