Gracie Florence Poole, 95, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on May 8, 1928 in Hammon, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Henry Lee and Zora Vesta (Jones) Neff. She went to sit with the angels beside her Lord's throne on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Elk City Nursing Home, Elk City, Oklahoma surrounded by her loving family.
Gracie married her best friend and love of her life, Henry Edward Poole on March 6, 1946 in Wheeler, Texas. Together they resided in the Elk City area most of their married life. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2013.
Cherishing her memory are three sons, Henry Edward Poole Jr and his wife, Sue of Elk City, Oklahoma, Marlin Poole and his wife, Rena of Elk City, Oklahoma, Roger Poole and his wife, Shanda of Elk City, Oklahoma; three daughters, Judy Drinnon of Elk City, Oklahoma, Susie Givens of Elk City, Oklahoma, Caroline "Sis" Nodal and her husband, Danny Nodal of Elk City, Oklahoma; son-in-law, Terry Stone of Elk City, Oklahoma; twenty-four grandchildren; forty-four great-grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren.
