They were moved to Stevenson's Station, Shenandoah Valley, VA May 2-4. They remained there until 27 Jun. They were at Opequam Creek (Winchester,VA) until Aug 4. They mustered out 4 Aug 1865. The regiment lost 1 enlisted man killed, 40 died from disease.
Farm located 2 1/2 miles east of Frankfort on Boylstown Road.
Signed his Lee grandchildrens' school records.
Died of a tumor at his son's house; funeral at family farm home
