Harry and Margaret were married in 1898 and they had eight children together including: Estella, Margaret, Ellsworth, Thelda, Dorothy, Donald, Herbert and Virginia McVay/MacVay. Harry was the son of Robert West McVay and Eliza Jane (Hamlin) McVay.

Please note: Harry's birth surname was "McVay." At some point, he started using "MacVay," but some records still list him as "McVay." The headstone has him listed as "Harry H. MacVay."
