MR. SNIDER

WEST POINT - Mr. Ronnie Snider, 67, of West Point died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at his residence.

Funeral services are planned for Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Lee Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at langdale Cemetery.

Mr. Snider is survived by his wife, Pat Snider; two children, Deborah Snider and Christ White; four grandchildren, Laurene Newman, Kenneth Newman IV, Nicholas Williams and Elizabeth Couch; four brother, James (Carol) Snider, Perry (Nancy) Snider, Felix (Pat) Snider and Phil (Helen) Snider; three sisters, Margaret (John) Bonner, Marion Bonner and Martha (Floyd) Hall; and several nieces and nephews.

Born July 3, 1940 in Langdale, Mr. Snider was the son of the late Opehlia Breedlove Snider and Owen Bennie Snider. He was a retired employee of George Power Company. Mr. Snider was a friend to everyone and loved helping others with different tasks. He like to hunt and enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Teresa Snider Williams, and his brothers, Byron Snider and Lynwood Snider. He was a member of First Baptist Church of West Point.

The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 19 from 7 until 8 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
