OBITUARY
RATLIFF - Mrs. Gladys Sweat Ratliff, 80, died Wednesday morning at the Satilla Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a native of Ware County where she lived all of her life. She was the wife of the late W. J. Ratliff. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Frank and Susie Temple Sweat. She was a Charter Member of the Pine Valley Congregational Methodist Church. She retired after 20 years of employment with the Waycross Memorial Hospital. She is survived by 4 daughters, Ruby White (Melvin), Jacquline Thomas Carver (Dean; Linda Taylor (Frank) and Kaye Johnson (Jimmy); 3 sons, Joe Ratliff (Elizabeth) of Brunswick, GA, Troy Ratliff (Linda) of Charleston, SC and Denver Ratliff (Diane); 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at the Chapel of MUSIC FUNERAL HOME, Waycross, GA, with burial to follow in the Kettle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.
