Peter Hansen, Jr., 61, died at a local hospital Saturday at 11:05 p.m. of a heart attack. He was born in Hyrum, June 13, 1870, and was one of the first colonizers in Alberta, Canada, helping to found the settlements of McGrath, Raymond and Tabor in 1900.
He moved to Rupert, Idaho, eighteen years ago and for the past eleven years had resided in Salt Lake. He was a plasterer and is survived by his widow, who resides at 229 Almond street, and four sons and daughters, Rulon and Fern Hansen, Mrs. Rudolph Zahalka and Mrs. Eugene Cook, all of Salt Lake. Six brothers and three sisters also survive.
