MILES CITY, MT. --- Valentine Dyba, 74, died Friday in Holy Rosary Hospital after two- month illness.
He was born Feb. 11, 1900, in Germany and moved to the United States in 1909.
He lived in Pennsylvania until 1912, when his family homesteaded near Miles City in the Hillside area.
In 1928 he married Katherine Diebele in Miles City.
He is survived by a son, Joseph of Glendive, MT.; two daughters, Mrs. Agne Martin of Sweetwater, TX., and Mrs. Irene reed of Miles City; five brothers, Paul, Anton, William and Fred all of Miles City, and Michael of Johnstown, PA.
Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m. in Stevenson's Funeral Home.
Mass will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Church.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Miles City, MT.
