William Hickman "Bill" Seaboalt was named for his two grandfathers, William Riley Seaboalt and Hickman Gray. Bill Seaboalt married widow Minnie Harp Woodard who had two sons, John Lee and James Floyd, from her previous marriage to John Pruitt Woodard.

Bill and Minnie had the following children:

-Herbert Roland Seaboalt (b. 09 Apr 1905)
-Mary Lora Vashti Seaboalt (b. 05 Aug 1908)
-Herschel Alonzo Seaboalt (b: 29 Oct 1910)

Bill and Minnie lived on and farmed the "south 60 acres" of his father Stephen Seaboalt's farm, which was located about 1/2 mile south of the Rankin Lodge and General Store. In 1929, a tornado came through Frost and southern Ellis County. Bill, Minnie and their family sought safety in a storm cellar, but the tornado caught their house, lifted it off the ground and scattered it across the countryside. Bill's false teeth were in the house and were lost. He never replaced them and gummed his food for the rest of his life.

When his father died in 1944, he inherited the north half of the 60 acres where his house and barn were located. He continued farming for about 3-4 more years after which he sold out to his neighbor Pete Noel and moved his house to Ennis.

In 1955, Minnie fell and broke her hip. She was a large woman and perhaps weighed as much as 180 ot 200 pounds while Bill was a small man, probably not over 5'9" tall and about 125 pounds. She was too much for Bill to care for and she was placed in a nursing home where she died after a short stay.

Bill smoked a pipe and was nervous and depressed in his later years after Minnie died in 1955. He would sometimes come back to Rankin a visit for several weeks or months at a time with his sister Mary and brother Lonnie. He died January 26, 1963
