Lonnie is supposed to have been quite a dashing young man who courted many girls driving his fine horse and buggy rig in the Rankin Community. However, he never married and lived out his adult life with his father Stephen Roland Seaboalt and his grass-widow sister, Mary Jane Seaboalt Wolverton. Lonnie inherited the "home place" after his father died in 1944. He retired from farming in 1947, sold his farm to Wilmer Gorman amd bought the old Canty Goodwyn house (formerly a store in the 1920's) across the road from the Masonic Lodge building. He spent most of his retirement years "hanging out" and playing dominos at the Rankin General Store (on the lower floor of the lodge building). He and his sister Mary moved to Dallas about 1967 amd lived with his neice Folsom for a year and then lived in a Nursing Home in Duncanville until his death in 1970.
