MRS. ELISHA LIPPENCOTT
Mrs. Rachel M. Lippencott, wife of Elisha Lippencott, died at their home in Franklin township, Friday evening, February 10, aged 43 years, after a two years' illness from Bright's disease. Mrs. Lippencott was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Zook, deceased, and was born in Franklin township, where she spent her entire life. She was a member of the Baptist church and was an excellent christian woman. Beside her husband she leaves the following children: Guy, Benjamin, Thomas Lippencott, and Mrs. Nettie Crayne, of Waynesburg, R. D. 1; Brantley Lippencott, of Waynesburg R. D. 6, and Wilbur Lippencott, of East Waynesburg. Three sisters also survive: Mrs. D. K. West, Waynesburg; Mrs. Irvin Lippencott, of Waynesburg R. D. 1, and Mrs. Benjamin Shirk, of Ruff Creek. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Smith, pastor of the Bethlehem Baptist church. Interment in Smith cemetery, near the Children's Home.
