Wilbur I. Lippencott, 82 years, died Sunday, November 12, 1961, in his home on South Morris street. He was a son of Elisha and Margaret Zook Lippencott, and was born January 30, 1879, in Franklin Township, near Waynesburg. With the esception of seven years in Wyoming, Mr. Lippencott has spent all his life in the Waynesburg area. He was employed by the Huffman Furniture and Undertaking Company, Waynesburg, and until his retirement ten years ago, was employed by the Waynesburg Borough school board as a janitor at Waynesburg High School. Surviving are his wife, Stella Clayton Lippencoott; one sister, Nettie, wife of Harry Crayne of Waynesburg, R. D. 1; four brothers, Thomas, Brant, and Guy, all of Waynesburg, and Ben of Washington, and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers are deceased.
