Born to parents Daniel Balliet and Catherine Drisbach he married Sarah E. Hoffman and had the following children: Anna, Naomi, Oliver F., George E., William Oscar, Hattie F., Lloyd O., John S., and Margaret

G.W. BALLIET

G.W. Balliet, aged seventy-five years, died at his home in Watsontown, R.D., Monday following a stroke sustained last Friday.

Mr. Balliet was a lifelong resident of Delaware Township and for many years followed the trade of butcher.

Surviving him are the following children: Mrs. Amandus Smith, Turbotville; Mrs. Harry Ritter, Milton; Mrs. A.C. Mincemoyer, Dewart; John and Lloyd Balliet, Watsontown R.D.; W.O. Balliet, Watsontown R.D. 2, and George Balliet, at home.

The funeral was held from his home this morning at eleven o'clock and the services were in charge of Rev. J. A. Sanders, pastor of the Reformed Church at Turbotville. Interment was made at Turbotville.
