Helen Bell Crawford, age 88, passed away on November 19, 2011 in Salt Lake City.

Helen was born June 21, 1923 in Castle Dale, Utah to Zada Aldrich and Andrew Cunningham Bell.

She married Edward S. (Ted) Crawford on September 17, 1945 in Castle Dale, Utah. They later solemnized their marriage in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She and her family lived in her beloved neighborhood of Yalecrest Avenue, where she maintained a residence for fifty years.

Helen attended BYU after leaving Emery County and became a librarian in the Salt Lake County Library System. She later owned and operated a consignment store, Encore Sales. She enjoyed "dressing" her many customers and friends from the store.

After the loss of her husband she moved to Pocatello, Idaho to be nearer to her daughter and grandchildren. She returned to Salt Lake City in 2009 and entered retirement living. She flourished in this environment and left many dear friends there.

She is survived by two daughters, Sue Crafts and Marianne Crawford; five grandchildren, Anthony Crafts, Rachel C. Armstrong, Charles Crafts, Sarah L. Jones, and Daniel Lamarra; and five great-grandchildren

Memorial funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 25, 2011 in the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 2350 East 1300 South. Friends are invited to visit the family one hour prior to the services.
