Rex Julian Lambson, our husband, father and grandpa, died on July 4, 1992, in his son's home in West Jordan, Utah.

Born March 9, 1909, in Vermillion, Utah, the son of Apollos and Ida Jennings Lambson. Married Verda Rawson July 1, 1932, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; she preceded him in death September 10, 1982. Married Fern P. Withers July 13, 1983, in the Jordan River LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church. He served as a High Priest and was a member of the Midvale 7th Ward. He was a talented blacksmith and loved horses.

Survivors: Wife, Fern, Midvale; children, Mrs. Kay (Dora) Hopla, Gearhart, Oregon; Melvin and Modell Lambson, West Jordan; Mary Lambson, Salt Lake City; Leah Gallegos; Gary Lambson, West Valley City; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four stepchildren; 19 step-grandchildren and many step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald, Kenneth, Arb; sisters, Betty Kemp, Carol Cummings, Leona Otteson. Preceded in death by children, Max and Verda Ann Lambson; granddaughter, Chris Gallegos, and grandson, Michael Barney.

Funeral services will be at the Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, Thursday, 11 a.m., where friends and family may call Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m., and also Thursday, one hour prior to the services.

Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
