Mary Leona Lambson Ottesen 1911 ~ 2009 Mary Leona Lambson Ottesen, 97, our loving mother and grandmother, passed away January 12, 2009.Mom was born September 9, 1911 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Apolles and Mary Ethel Young Lambson. She married Andrew Sidney Ottesen and Andrew preceded her in death. Mary was a devoted wife, mom, and grandma and was loved by her family. An active member of the LDS Church, she taught in the Primary and was a member of the Sharp Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Survivors: children, Geraldine Ness, West Valley City; JoAnn Pantelakis, Midvale; James Sidney Ottesen, West Valley City; Bonnie Moon (John), Blackfoot, Idaho; in addition to her children, Mary had a huge posterity; also survived by a brother, Kenneth (Jean), Midvale; sister, Betty Kemp (Shirl), Sandy. Preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State where a viewing will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and again on Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
