LYONS- Mrs. Olive May Sangster, 92, died Tuesday morning at Grace Hospital in Hutchinson where she was taken six days ago for treatment of a broken hip.
She was born Jan. 8, 1869, at Jelloway, Ohio, and came to Lyons when she was 10 years old. She was married to Charles Sangster Dec. 5, 1886, southeast of here, where they farmed many years before moving to the city. Mr. Sangster died in 1928.
She was a member of the Lyons Methodist Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Homer Sharpe, Lyons; three sisters, Mrs. G. C. Dresher, Hutchinson, Mrs. G. N. Shephard, Lyons, and Mrs Eal Blackwell, Hooker, Okla.; a brother, Guy Blakely, Springer, N. M., four grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Crawford and Miller Mortuary. Rev. E. M. Fly will officiate. Burial will be in the Lyons Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
