LYONS - Sarah T. Shepherd, 92, died Sunday at Lyons District Hospital. Born Sarah T. Blakely, June 11, 1888, at Lyons, she married George Melvin Shepherd March 25, 1906, at Lyons. He died July 12, 1955.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Lyons.
Survivors: son: Elwin. Lyons; daughters: Mrs. Georgia Molder, Lyons; Mrs. Virginia Goudy, Macksville; six grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church; the Rev. Clayton Hildebrand. Burial will be at Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at Sillin-Crawford-Miller Funeral Home, Lyons. Family suggests memorials to the whirlpool fund at Lyons Good Samaritan, or the church.
