Josephine Juanita Mattox
Josephine Juanita Mattox, 74, of Mt. Alto died Monday, December 26, 1994, at Pleasant Valley Hospital.
She was a retired employee of Pleasant Valley Hospital - housekeeping department and a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church on Chestnut Ridge.
Born May 24, 1920 in Leon, she was a daughter of the late James B. and Laura (Davis) Jordan.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Mattox; four brothers, Lester Jordan, Clyde Jordan, Marion Jordan, and Oscar B. Jordan, Sr.; and two sisters, Lora Jackson and Violet Jordan.
She is survived by one sister, Ruth Wilson of Circleville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 29, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Rev. Herman Jordan and Rev. Kenneth Durst officiating. Burial will follow in the Blaine Memorial Cemetery in Cottageville.
Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 6-9 p.m.
