Lora A Jackson, 82, of 411 Florence St., Belpre, Ohio, died at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital Sunday morning after a long illness.
The Mason County native had resided in Belpre since 1924.
She was affiliated with the Belpre Church of Nazarene and was a former employee Desales Hights Academy.
Surviving are two sons, Lewis Jackson, Deerwalk; Wayne Jackson, Carmington, New Mexico; five daughters, Opal Jackson, Annapolis, Maryland, Clara Barton, Little Hocking, Ohio, Ruth Dawson and Rosalia Peck, both of Belpre, and Irene Owen, Parkersburg; one brother, Oscar B Jordan, Mt Alto, W.V.; two sisters Ruth Wilson, Ashville, Ohio, and Juanita Mattox, of Mt Alto; 19 grandchildren and and (sic) 18 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Spencer Funeral Home in Belpre with the Rev Robert Stewart officiating.
Burial in the Rockland Cemetery in Belpre, Ohio.
