Madison, S. C., July 14. - The funeral of Warren A. Watt, well known resident of this place was held here Thursday afternoon at five o'clock, conducted by Rev. Scoggins of Westminster, in the presence of a large concourse of relatives and friends. Interment in Madison cemetery.
Mr. Watt was the youngest son of the late James and Dicy Watt of this place, he was reared here, had always lived here and was a Christian gentleman of devout devotion and faithfulness to his Lord and Master. In his early manhood he joined the Madison Baptist church of which he lived a faithful and consecrated life.
Besides his widow he leaves two daughters and one sister. Besides six grandchildren a host of nieces and nephews, to mourn his death. His daughters are a Mrs. Morgan of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Thompson of Madison, sister, Mrs. S. J. Hunnicutt, Atlanta, Ga. He was 70 years old and had lived a life of the sterling exemplary Christian worth, whose influence will long be felt.
