Born in Westminster, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Sara Gilbert Watt. Survivors; a son, Wayne Thompson of Westminster; a daughter, Ruth Varner of Blacksburg; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased: two sisters and one brother.
