Ernest Gustav Asman of Saginaw passed away 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 1981, at St. Luke's Hospital. Age 83 years. He was born October 3, 1897 in Saginaw. He was a charter member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I. Prior to his retirement in 1964 he was employed at Saginaw Steering Gear for 22 years. Surviving are four sisters and one brother, Mrs. Albert (Julia) Berka, Mrs. Sue Taylor, Mrs. Amelia Beamish, Miss Ottilie Asman, Emil E. Asman, all of Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Frederick J. and Edward W. Asman predeceased him....burial in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery...
