Fred J. Asman of Detroit passed away Tuesday morning at Detroit Convalescent Home after a lingering illness. Age 68 years. He was born May 9, 1894, in Saginaw, and had resided in Detroit for the past 50 years. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion. He had been employed as a sign pinting contractor in Detroit. Surviving are one son, Roger Asman, Detroit; one grandson, Stephen Asman, Detroit; also three brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Albert Berka, Mrs. Weldon Taylor, Mrs. Henry Beamisch, Miss Ottilie Asman, Ernest G., Edward W., and Emil E. Asman, all of Saginaw; several....commital service at Holy Cross Cemetery...
