Judge Felix G. Smith, of San Antonio, died at the residence of his sister, Mrs. John Jobe, of this place, last Sunday morning. On Tuesday previous he came down with his family on a visit, and on Thursday started from doctor Jobe's residence to the home of judge Collins. On the way he was taken sick. He recovered. however, and was doing well, but on Sunday was taken with spasms again, and soon died. He has been county judge of Bexar county for several years was highly esteemed. He was buried in the Masonic cemetery.
