She was a native of Amherst county, a daughter of Mr. Taylor and Mrs. Ann Duff Taylor, both of Amherst County. She was born May 1861.
Mrs. Truslow is survived by the following sons and daughters: J. L. Truslow and G. E. Truslow, both of Lexington; S. H. Truslow, Waynesboro; W. R. Truslow, Bedford, Howard Truslow, Mrs. A. J. Sorrell, Mrs. Lee Johnson, Mrs. Charlie Riley, all of Lexington. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Bettie Staton, Buena Vista, and two half-brothers, Charles and Barket Chittum, Buena Vista.
