Lexington, Jan. 30, (1940) – Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Roberta Truslow, widow of Joseph Truslow, will be held from Manly Memorial Baptist church at three p. M. Jan. 31 by her pastor, the Rev. J. H. Cosby, with burial in the Lexington cemetery.
She was a native of Amherst county, a daughter of Mr. Taylor and Mrs. Ann Duff Taylor, both of Amherst County. She was born May 1861.
Mrs. Truslow is survived by the following sons and daughters: J. L. Truslow and G. E. Truslow, both of Lexington; S. H. Truslow, Waynesboro; W. R. Truslow, Bedford, Howard Truslow, Mrs. A. J. Sorrell, Mrs. Lee Johnson, Mrs. Charlie Riley, all of Lexington. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Bettie Staton, Buena Vista, and two half-brothers, Charles and Barket Chittum, Buena Vista.
