Beulah married Marvin Lewis "Barney" Davis on March 5, 1914. He was the son of Joseph W. & Jane (Joyner) Davis. They were both 23 years old, & both were both diabetics.
On Jan. 29/30, 1920, Marvin, age 27, & Beulah, 26, lived in Whitt, Parker Co, TX where they were renting. Marvin supported the family by farming. They had a son, Baxter, age 1 year & 3 months.
On May 7, 1930, Marvin, age 38, & Beulah, 38, were renting a home in Precinct 2, Palo Pinto Co, TX, where Marvin farmed. Their children were shown as J., age 11; Mavinetta, 5, & Clyde, 1 year & 6 months.
On April 12, 1940, Marvin, age 47, & Beulah, 47, lived in Precinct 2, Jack Co, TX, where he worked farming. Their children were shown as Clyde, age 11, & Jimmie, 5.
Beulah & Jim were living in Perrin, Jack Co, TX when she was went to the Resort Lodge in Mineral Wells, TX for treatment of complication of Diabetes. She had been there nine months when she died from Bronchial Pneumonia at 7 a.m. on Dec. 3, 1972. She was 79 years old. Her husband, shown as Marvin L. Davis, was the informant on her death certificate. She was buried Dec. 5.
Marvin died the following year. He was a patient in Palo Pinto General Hospital when he died at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 26, 1973, from an Acute Myocardial Infarction. He was 80 years old. He was buried beside Beulah on Nov. 28.
